Glia
Head of Content, Comms, Customer Marketing
At Glia, my role has been to give a fast-growing brand the creative voice, systems, and structure to scale. I unified content, PR, customer marketing, and design into one coordinated program—building the style guides, asset libraries, and workflows that powered a full brand refresh. We launched 60+ new website pages (in just 3 months!), produced 2 industry-leading research reports that anchored millions in pipeline, and built persona-based content libraries that armed the GTM team with sharper stories.
I also directed the Above & Beyond customer conference branding, weaving a NASA-inspired “galaxy” theme across print, video, and experiential assets. Alongside the work, I mentored a five-workstream team and agency partners, creating clarity, confidence, and the creative infrastructure Glia needed to grow.
Big Ideas, Clear Wins
Industry-leading Research + Activations
2024 FLAGSHIP BENCHMARK REPORT
The 2024 Glia Interactions Report exposed the hidden cost of siloed channels—and the payoff of unifying them. Its centerpiece, the Unified Interactions Index, measured efficiency, effectiveness, and experience across 3B+ interactions, 600+ clients.
I owned the report end to end—shaping the data, story, and design. It became a signature asset, driving campaigns, PR, and sales with a clear link between customer interactions and business outcomes.
REPORT ONLINE CALCULATOR ACTIVATION
At Glia, I directed the creation of an online calculator that made complex data actionable, giving leaders instant insight into efficiency and experience. I designed the user flow, authored all the copy, and partnered with our internal SMEs to make the results something worth registering for: Custom, practical, actionable insights both in and out of Glia that users could use for their program. The Sales team used the calculator to shorten their discovery phase, and CSMs are still using it to help existing customers build expansion roadmaps.
2025 AI IN THE CONTACT CENTER RESEARCH
I led the AI in the Contact Center report from start to finish—guiding research topics, aligning with executives, shaping Metric Sherpa’s analysis, and driving the inclusion of Glia’s customers. In just three months (June–August), I kept a complex project on track, transforming raw data into a clear, human story of AI as labor. I directed writers, designers, and analysts to ensure copy was resonant, design on-brand, and insights tied to business outcomes. In the end, I also wrote most of the Glia branded report. The research became a cornerstone asset: anchoring campaigns, fueling executive visibility, and generating pipeline by giving Glia a credible, inspiring point of view on AI.
Structure + Clarity That Fuels Creativity
A Workflow Overhaul Powered by Asana
The cost of broken systems always lands hardest on the creative team. When marketing lacks structure, every project feels urgent, briefs are half-baked, and priorities blur. In Q4 2024, Marketing’s Project Manager was reallocated to another function: Whatever chaos we had was about to get way worse. In addition, we expanded our marketing team to have 3 new functions, which couldn’t fit into our old system. In just three months—what takes most orgs a year—I rebuilt Glia’s marketing workflows for the 25+ people in this new world: templates, calendars, intake systems, briefs, and checkpoints that aligned content, Demand, Partner Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Events into one system.
SOLUTIONS:
Prioritization & Clarity: Asana assigned owners, timelines, and priorities, ending the chaos of “urgent” everything
Cross-Team Visibility: Multi-homing made tasks visible across functions, eliminating silos and duplicate work
Streamlined Feedback: Asana centralized reviews with Google Docs and Figma, cutting confusion and lost edits
Automated Handoffs: Rules handled reminders and task transitions—vital for a team across 10 time zones
Unified Calendar: Asana’s campaign calendar gave execs one clear view of priorities and outcomes
CHALLENGES:
No project manager left creatives buried in urgent, un-prioritized requests
Monday.com lacked multi-homing, making cross-team work invisible
Feedback scattered across Slack threads, causing version confusion
Remote team across 10 time zones needed reliable async handoffs
No master calendar for campaigns, limiting exec visibility
A PEEK INTO THE NEW ORG
Glia Creative
In 2025, we suddenly found ourselves with a major gap in design leadership and roadmap. I stepped in to guide execution, set priorities, and make sure critical work crossed the finish line. From briefing field marketing on trade show needs to steering website design feedback, I kept the team focused and on track. I also led creative for our customer conference—site assets, signage, and experiences—so the new brand came alive in every detail.
